Dear Members/Exhibitors:
Following is the 2005 show report. As many of you are aware, we suffered a
computer crash and our previous Points Registrar was forced to give up his
duties due to health problems.
I have completed the reconstruction of our
database and am happy to report that Jim’s health is also improving.
Congratulations to Bill (our current president)
and Judy (our magazine editor) McElveen for pointing the most new ACS banded
birds this year.
Congratulations to Joan Redondo (our past
president) for accumulating the most points this year.
Congratulations to Keith Jennings, who maintains
his strangle hold on the all time standings for birds pointed.
Finally, congratulations to the breeders
responsible for 3 new Grand Champions and 4 new champions this year.
I am preparing the Grand Champion/Champion
certificates and they should be arriving shortly.
If you are listed as having a cockatiel that reached Grand Champion/Champion
status in 2005 and have not received your certificate by mid January, please let
me know. Certificates earned in 2006
will be sent shortly after I receive the show results.
